- 12 to 16 slices white or wheat bread
- Swiss cheese
- ham
- 8 eggs
- 3 c. milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. favorite mustard or 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
Directions

1Cut the crusts off of the bread.

2Cover the bottom of a Pam-sprayed 9 x 13-inch pan with 1 layer.

3Add layers of Swiss cheese and ham.

4Cover with rest of bread.

5Mix together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper and mustard.

6Pour over the bread, making sure all of the top layer is moistened.

7Sprinkle with paprika.

8Cover with foil, refrigerate until 1 1/2 hours before needed.

9Preheat oven to 350°.

10Bake 50 to 60 minutes, removing foil after about 30 minutes.

11It will puff up nicely and get toasty brown.

12Broil 1 to 2 minutes if appearance calls for it.

13This recipe can be altered with different kinds of cheese, sausage and onions, Egg Beaters and skim milk, spinach and mushrooms.
