- 2 c. cooked rice (mix brown and white)
- 5 strips crisp bacon (save 2 Tbsp. drippings)
- 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 grated carrot
- 1/4 c. milk
Directions

1Cook rice as follows:

2boil 2 cups water; add a pinch of salt. Pour in 1/2 cup long grain brown rice and return to boil.

3Add 1/2 cup long grain white rice and return to boil, then reduce heat to simmer.

4Cook for about 30 minutes without stirring.

5Set aside.
