Ingredients

  • 2 cups of fresh tomatoes cut in cubes.
  • 1/2 smal oignon, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons of fresh chopped basil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar white or brown
  • 1 loaf of focaccia, halfed horizontally
  • 1 large clove of garlic, halved.
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Combine tomatoes, oignon, olive oil, basil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.

    Place focaccia on baking sheet, brush with olive oil and toast until golden brown for about 2 minutes. Immidiately brush focaccia with garlic half. Cut focaccia in individual portions and top with tomato mixture.
