- 2 lbs Brussels sprouts, washed and sliced into shreds
- 3 slices bacon, chopped
- 14 cup sliced almonds
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Directions

1Fry bacon in a large deep skillet over medium heat until cooked but not crispy, about 5 to 7 minutes.

2Remove bacon from the heat, leaving the grease.

3Add the garlic and almonds to the skillet, and cook over medium heat until toasted.

4Add the Brussels sprouts and stir, completely coating them with the garlic/almond/oil mixture.

5Add the red wine vinegar to the sprouts.

6Cook, stirring frequently, until sprouts are wilted.

7Add salt and pepper, stir in the bacon, and serve immediately.
