- 1 lb. sausage (kielbasa)
- 4 to 5 medium potatoes
- large onion
- 1/2 head cabbage
- salt to taste
- oil (to start)
Directions

1Slice potatoes into skillet; sprinkle with salt.

2Slice onion over potatoes.

3Slice sausage in bite size pieces; add to skillet. Shred cabbage on top and cover.

4Add salt to cabbage to taste. Simmer until cabbage is done; do not stir.

5When dish starts bubbling and squeaking, it's cooking just right.

6A little water may be added 5 minutes before serving to loosen the potatoes from the pan.

7Serves 4 to 6 people.
