- buttermilk
- 1 cake yeast, dissolved
- pinch of soda in 1/4 c. water
Directions

1Make batter of first 3 ingredients with enough buttermilk to mix (not too thick).

2Pour dissolved yeast cake into batter.

4Next, punch down and stir in soda and water. Stir in hard.
