  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 4 (8 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 c. hot boiling water
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles
  • 2 lb. Ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Brown beef with onion and garlic in a large skillet; pour off excess fat.

    Add salt, oregano, basil, pepper, tomato paste and water.

    Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes; meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions.
