  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 oz red food coloring
  • 2 1/2 cup cake flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 each butter
  • 1 cup melted marshmallows
  • 1 box confectioner's sugar
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

    Preheat oven 350

    Cream sugar & butter, beat until fluffy, add eggs, mix cocoa & food coloring, then add sugar mixture; mix well add flour & salt mixture wit buttermilk, blend in vanilla

    small bowl, combine baking soda & vinegar then add 2 the mixture, pour batter into 3 round greasedn& floured pans.

    Bake for 20-25 mins, or until tooth pick center comes out clean.

    Removenfrom heat & cool completely before frosting

    Blend Cream cheese & butter; add marshmallows& sugar then blend, fold in coconut & pecans.

    Spread between layers & on top & sides of cooled cake
