Buffet Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef or venison
  • 2 c. sour cream, divided
  • 2 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt or powder
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 tsp. dill weed
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika

Directions

    Combine meat and 1/4 cup sour cream, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic salt and oregano.

    Shape into meatballs.

    Brown in oil and pour off excess grease.

    Add water, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Remove meatballs to a casserole dish.

    Combine remaining sour cream, salt and dill in skillet which meatballs were cooked.

    Heat and pour over meatballs.

    Sprinkle with paprika.

    Serve with rice or noodles.
