  • 2 lb. pkg. hash browns
  • 1/2 c. melted butter or oleo
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 10 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp. salt or less
  • bread crumbs

Directions

    Thaw potatoes and blot well with paper towel.

    Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.

    Bake in a 13 x 9-inch Pam-sprayed baking dish; cover with about 1 1/2 cups of bread crumbs.

    Bake, uncovered, 1 hour at 350°.
