- 2 lb. beef cubes (can substitute venison cubes, ground venison and ground beef)
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 c. diced celery
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 6 to 8 oz. beer
- 1 c. barbecue sauce
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 (16 oz.) cans pinto or kidney beans
Directions

1Brown beef in oil and drain. Add remaining ingredients, except for beans, and simmer 1 hour. Add beans and continue to simmer 45 additional minutes. If liquid is too thin, 1 can of tomato paste can be added to thicken.
