Ingredients

  • 5 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/3 c. minced onion
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/2 lb. pork sausage
  • 1/2 c. chili powder
  • 1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. coriander
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt to taste

    In a cup, combine onion and garlic in 1/2 cup water.

    Cook and drain sausage and ground chuck.

    In large pot, mix all ingredients.

    Simmer until well done, about 1 hour.
