- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1/2 c. red wine
- 1 lb. stew beef, cut in bite-size pieces
- 1 small chopped onion
- 2 c. water
Directions

1Brown beef in small amount of oil.

2Add onion and cook until tender.

3Add drained mushrooms, bouillon and water.

4Cool until beef is tender, adding more water if necessary.

5Add wine last 15 minutes.

6Serve over rice.
