- 1 pt. whipping cream
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- sugar for topping
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Heat cream over low until bubbles form around edge of pan.

3Beat egg yolks and sugar together until thick, about 3 minutes.

4Gradually beat cream into egg yolks. Stir in vanilla and pour into six 6-ounce custard cups.

5Place in baking pan that has about 1/2 inch of water in the bottom.

6Bake until set, about 45 minutes.

7Sprinkle with sugar.

8Place under broiler and cook until topping is medium brown.

9Chill before serving.
