  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. or little more water
  • 1 stick real butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. milk

    Crust:

    Mix flour, shortening, salt and water.

    Make crust and divide into 3 pieces and roll each oblong.

    Take 1 stick real butter and 1/2 cup sugar and divide equally among the 3 crusts and fold each over.

    Bake at 350° until very light brown and crust is done.

    Heat 1 1/2 cups sugar, milk and vanilla.

    Pour over pie crust and cook about 5 minutes.
