- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. margarine (1/2 stick)
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 egg
- 3 1/2 c. unsifted flour
Directions

1Scald milk, stir in sugar and salt.

2Cool to lukewarm. Measure warm water into large bowl.

3Sprinkle yeast in; stir well until dissolved.

4Add lukewarm mixture, egg and 2 cups of flour, beat until smooth; stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.

5Cover, let rise in warm place for about 30 minutes.

6Punch down and shape into 2 dozen rolls.

7Let rise for 30 minutes.

8Bake in hot 400° oven for about 15 minutes.
