- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2/3 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine the flour, butter, and oil in food processor, fitted with steel blade.

2Pulse several times to cut butter into flour.

3Add buttermilk and process until well blended and mixture forms a soft sticky dough. Remove dough to a well floured surface.

4Gently knead about 6 times.

5Pat or roll dough to a thickness of about 1/2 inch.

6Cut with a 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter.

7Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
