  • 2 pounds Powdered Sugar
  • 1 cup Shortening
  • 6 Tablespoons Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Clear Karo Syrup
  • 2 teaspoons CLEAR Vanilla Flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon Butter Flavoring
  • 1 pinch Salt

Directions

    Put all ingredients in a stand mixer. Use your splatter guard! Mix on low speed for 10 minutes.

    Refrigerate or use right away. Leaving icing out will cause it to harden.

    When you are ready to use it, add water (a little at a time) to soften icing or add powdered sugar (a little at a time) to thicken icing.

    Icing will keep in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
