- 6 to 8 butterfly pork chops (cut 3/4 to 1-inch thick)
- 2 Tbsp. lard or drippings
- salt and pepper
- 1/4 c. water
Directions

1Brown the chops in lard or drippings in frying pan.

2Pour off drippings.

3Season with salt and pepper.

4Add water; cover tightly and simmer for 45 minutes or 1 hour, or until done.
