- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 cake yeast
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening or margarine
- 1 c. warm milk
- 5 c. flour
Directions

1Mix yeast and sugar together.

2Mix eggs, sugar, yeast mixture and shortening together.

3Knead with flour, adding milk gradually. Let rise about 1 hour.

4Knead down again.

5Roll out into a circle.

6Cut in triangles from center to edge.

7Roll up.

8Place on pans and let rise 2 hours.

9Bake at 400° until brown.

10Check from time to time to see that bottoms aren't burning.
