  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. plus 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 cake yeast
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 c. flour

Directions

    Scald milk.

    Add 1/2 cup sugar and butter.

    Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast and remaining sugar in small amount of warm water. Beat eggs.

    Add yeast and eggs in milk mixture.

    Stir in flour.
