  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 3/4 stick cold butter
  • 1 3/4 cup cold buttermilk
  • (can substitute milk if necessary)

Directions

    Cream together with pastry cutter until combined and well mixed. Do not overmix. Form into a ball, and roll out to a flat pancake, somewhat thick. cut out biscuits. Bake at 425 for 22 minutes.
