  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 2 c. butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cream together butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Mix alternately with buttermilk, soda, almond extract, vanilla, flour, baking powder and salt. Grease and flour Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes, then lower to 325° for 25 minutes. Cool and remove from pan.
