  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 3/4 c. cake flour
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Sift flour and salt 3 times.

    Mix buttermilk, soda and vanilla together.

    Combine all ingredients; mix well with mixer for about 3 minutes.

    Pour into greased pans.

    Bake at 325° for 40 minutes or until done.
