  • 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. snipped chives
  • 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil

Directions

    In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, chives, baking powder, baking soda, salt and pepper.

    Stir together the buttermilk and oil; pour into flour mixture.

    Stir with a fork until combined.

    Drop onto a greased baking sheet in 6 mounds. Bake in 450° oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden.
