- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions

1Stir flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.

2In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.

3Beat in the eggs, one at time.

4Stir in the vanilla and buttermilk alternately with the dry ingredients.

5Cover dough and chill several hours.

6Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

7Grease cookie sheets.

8Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets, about 2 inches apart.

9Combine the Cinnamon and sugar, sprinkle onto each cookie.

10Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.

11Remove from baking sheets to cool on wire racks.
