Buttermilk Pecans

  • 1 qt. shelled pecans
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cook sugar, buttermilk and salt to soft-ball stage.

    Stir in pecans and stir until it almost turns to sugar.

    Pour out on waxed paper and separate with fork.

    Allow to cool until set.

    Store in covered container.
