  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • dash of ground nutmeg
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 (9-inch) pastry shell (unbaked)

Directions

    Cream butter. Gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour and nutmeg, beating at low speed until blended. Add buttermilk, beating well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 325° for 55 minutes or until pie is set. Cool on a wire rack.
