  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 4 Tbsp. melted butter

Directions

    Beat egg yolk, sugar, flour and salt until well blended.

    Add buttermilk and butter. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

    Bake in 9-inch pie shell at 450° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce oven to 350° and continue baking for 35 to 40 minutes or until done.
