- 1 c. butter, softened
- 2 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1In large bowl, cream butter;

2add sugar gradually, beating until light.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Stir flour and soda.

4Add to creamed mixture alternately, with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour.

5Blend in flavorings. Place batter in greased and floured 10 inch tube pan.

6Bake at 300 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes, or until done.

7Do not over bake.
