- 1/2 lb. butter or 1 c. Crisco
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. almond extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar well.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

3Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with the buttermilk to the creamed mixture.

4Add extracts.

5Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan.

6Bake at 325° for 60 to 70 minutes.
