- 3 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. butter (room temperature)
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
Directions

1Sift together first 4 ingredients.

2Cut butter into flour mixture; add eggs alternately with buttermilk.

3Beat well after each addition; add almond flavoring and beat.

4Grease and flour tube cake pan.

5Bake at 325° for 1/2 hour, then turn to 350° for 1/2 hour.

6DO NOT open oven door while baking.
