Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. warm buttermilk
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 c. cooking oil
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar in the warm water.

2Add 1/4 cup sugar, salt, cooking oil and soda to buttermilk.

3Add yeast mixture.

4Add flour to make soft dough and knead on floured board until smooth.

5Cover with cloth and let rest 15 minutes.

6Shape as desired.

7Put in a greased pan in a warm place 1 1/2 hours or until doubled.

8Bake at 375°.

9Brush with butter and serve.

10Dough will keep several days in refrigerator.

11Makes 1 1/2 to 2 dozen rolls.
