  • 2/3 c. canned milk
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. butternut flavoring
  • 3 1/4 c. sifted flour

    (Start in a cold oven.) Cream the sugar and shortening. Add eggs one at

    Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, water and flavoring.

    Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 40 minutes at 350°.
