  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 1 Tbsp. butter and nut flavoring
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs together at high speed for 10 minutes.

    Add 1 cup flour; beat 1 minute on third speed.

    Add rest of flour and milk; beat 1 minute on third speed.

    Add flavoring and mix.

    Bake in 4 layers at 350° until done.
