- 1 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 c. melted margarine
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/3 c. water (from cooking squash)
- 1 c. cooked squash
- 1/2 c. raisins or mixed fruit
Directions

1Sift together dry ingredients.

2Beat shortening, eggs, water and squash. Combine with dry ingredients until dry mix is moist. Pour into greased and floured pan.

3Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.
