  • 2 unbaked pie shells
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. mace
  • 1 c. mashed cooked squash
  • 1 c. evaporated milk

Directions

    Add sugar, salt and spices to squash and mix well.

    Beat eggs with milk, then mix with squash.

    Pour in pie shells.

    Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 40 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
