Butternut Squash Soup

  • 1 butternut squash, peeled, seeded and diced
  • 2 cups leeks, sliced
  • 2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 2 14 oz cans Chicken broth
  • 1 c water
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

    Add all ingredients to slow cooker

    Cover and cook 6 hours (low) or 3.5 hours (high).

    Puree soup in food processor

    Return to crockpot

    Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes till hot
