6 ingredients
10 steps

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter, Plus A Little More For The Pan And The Parchment Paper
  • 1/4 cups Chocolate Banana Liqueur
  • 1 bag Marshmallows, 10 Oz Bag (or A 7 Oz Jar Of Marshmallow Fluff)
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies Or Similar Cereal
  • 1/2 cups Crumbled Pretzel Sticks Or Pretzels (depending On How Salty You Like Your Sweets)
  • 1 cup Butterscotch Chips, Divided

Directions

  1. 1
Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan as well as a piece of parchment paper of about the same size.
  2. 2
Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the liqueur just before the butter is completely melted. Turn the heat down a little and add the marshmallows. Let them melt, stirring every now and then.
  3. 3
Once the marshmallows are completely melted, remove the saucepan from the heat and add the cereal and the pretzel stick pieces.
  4. 4
Stir to combine, add half of the butterscotch chips and stir until you have patches of melted butterscotch chips throughout the mix.
  5. 5
Press the mixture into the prepared pan using the piece of parchment paper to keep your hands clean.
  6. 6
Sprinkle the treats with the remaining butterscotch chips and push them down firmly using the parchment once more.
  7. 7
Let them cool on the counter or in the fridge then cut into squares.
  8. 8
    Notes:
  9. 9
    - If you can't find any chocolate banana liqueur, try Bailey's Irish Cream with the tiniest splash of banana syrup or even less banana extract. Crushed-up banana chips would also be awesome in these!
  10. 10
    - Milk chocolate chips work in a pinch instead of butterscotch.
