- 1/2 c. margarine or butter
- 2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
Directions

1Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Stir in vanilla.

4Mix together flour and nuts. Add to brown sugar mixture.

5Spread in a 9 inch x 13 inch greased pan.

6Bake in 350 oven for 25 minutes.

7Cut into bars while warm. Remove from pan when cool. Yield: 3 dozen bars.
