- 1 cup soft bread cubes
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 23 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 dash salt
- 13 cup raisins or 13 cup your choice of diced dried fruit
Directions

1Heat oven to 350 degrees.

2Place bread cubes in buttered 2-1/2 cup casserole.

3Beat egg slightly, stir in butter, milk, brown sugar, seasonings and raisins.

4Pour egg mixture on bread cubes.

5Bake until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean, about 40 minutes.

6Serve warm.
