- 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. butterscotch pudding (not instant)
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. oil
- 1 pkg. cake mix (yellow or white)
- 1 pkg. butterscotch chips (12 oz.)
- 1/2 c. pecans
Directions

1Cook pudding according to directions.

2Set aside to cool; beat egg and add oil.

3Add egg and oil mixture to cooled pudding.

4Use large bowl.

5Add mixture to cake mix.

6Beat until smooth.

7Mixture will be rather thick.

8Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan and sprinkle top of cake mixture evenly with chips and nuts. Bake 36 minutes at 300°.

9Bake longer if necessary, but do not raise temperature of oven.
