- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 3/4 c. whipping cream
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. butter (not margarine)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Combine sugars, corn syrup, cream and water.

2Cook, stirring, until sugar dissolves to very hard ball stage (260°).

3Add butter and cook to light crack stage (270°).

4Remove from heat; add salt and vanilla extract.

5Pour into two large shallow pans.

6When cool, break in pieces.
