  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. butterscotch chips

Directions

    Combine the brown sugar, baking soda, white sugar, flour and margarine; reserve 1/2 cup of the mixture.

    Add the buttermilk and vanilla to the mixture; mix well.

    Pour into a 13 x 9-inch greased pan.

    Sprinkle reserved mixture on batter, chopped nuts and chips. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
