Ingredients
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 lb 90% lean ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 lb spinach leaves, cleaned
- Nutmeg
- Salt and pepper
- Sour cream or yogurt
Directions

1In a pan large enough to hold the full pound of spinach, brown ground beef.

2Add chopped onion, cooking just til soft.

3Add garlic.

4Add spinach on top of ground beef and onion mixture.

5Cover and wilt for 2-3 minutes.

6Remove lid and stire to combine beef, onion, and spinach.

7Grate fresh nutmeg to taste.

8Add salt and peper to taste.

9(Use a slotted spoon to dish up to keep the juices under control.)

10Serve with a dollop of sour cream or yogurt.

11Excellent with crusty bread on the side.
