- 2 c. brown sugar
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 8 Tbsp. cream
- 2 c. milk
- 6 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 4 eggs (yolks)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cook brown sugar, cream and butter in heavy skillet until thick and brown.

2Mix together well the milk, cornstarch and egg yolks. Add to sugar mixture, stirring constantly.

3Cook until thick.

4Add vanilla.

5Pour into baked pie shell.

6Top with meringue or Cool Whip.
