- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 2 egg yolks
Directions

1Put butter and sugar in top of double boiler.

2Add 1 cup milk. Heat over boiling water until milk is scalded.

3Mix flour and salt.

4Stir in 1/2 cup milk, then stir this mixture into contents of double boiler.

5Stir until mixture thickens.

6Cover; cook for 10 minutes.

7Beat egg yolks; add to double boiler.

8Cook for 1 minute.

9Cool slightly; pour into baked pie shell.
