  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. brown sugar

    Bring milk to a boil.

    Add butter and brown sugar.

    Mix flour with warm water to make a paste.

    Add eggs and salt to flour mixture.

    When milk is almost boiling, stir in flour mixture, continuing to stir until blended.

    Pour into 1 baked pie shell. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 40-45 minutes.
