- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Prepare a single crust pie shell and cook until golden brown. Cook the first three ingredients in a double boiler until very thick and remove from heat.

2Add egg yolks, vanilla and butter, mix well.

3Cook one batch of pie filling and pour it into the cooked pie shell, cook a second batch and pour over the first batch.

4Top with meringue.

5Place under a broiler until meringue is golden. Chill before serving.
