- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. cream
Directions

1Mix all of the ingredients in a saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring to soft ball (234°).

2Then stir in an additional 1/2 cup cream.

3Cook to thick, smooth consistency (228°).

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.

6Serve hot or cold. Makes 2 cups.
